Thread title speaks for itself really. So let's have your daily examples of what makes this party really and truly, the nasty party.

I present Theresa May's new housing minister, Kit Malthouse, who replaces the odious Dominic Raab (new Brexit secretary).

Kit Malthouse and best pal Boris Johnson

In 2004 while deputy leader of Westminster Council, Mr Malthouse boasted how he pioneered council policy to make life “more uncomfortable” for rough sleepers. He installed a "zero tolerance" approach to move rough sleepers away from wealthy areas. He sent out street cleaning vehicles fitted with high powered jet wash units to hose down spaces which rough sleepers were known to choose to sleep for the night. These spaces were chosen by people because they afforded them some protection from the elements and were relatively safe due to the proximity to busy streets. Mr. Malthouse was unrepentant when questioned about his policy when he became Mayor Boris Johnson's deputy in 2008. He said the policy was a deliberate attempt to make rough sleeper's life "as difficult as possible"; who would think that a rough sleeper's life could be made any more difficult? People who were subjected to this policy said that it was a "bullying tacit" which caused stress, sleep deprivation and mental health problems.

Since 2010 the number of people who are homeless (rough sleepers, people who live in B&Bs, hostels, sleep on friends sofas, floors etc.) has more than doubled. Prime Minister Theresa May has appointed Kit Malthouse as the man to take on the job of solving the UK's massive homelessness problem. This is the man who actively sort to rid his borough of homeless people by threatening to use hoses on them and their possessions if they didn't leave the place they had chosen to sleep for the night.

As soon as I read your opening paragraph I thought Malthouse.
I'll go with her self proclaimed environment of discomfort (can't remember the actual phrase) she started within the home office regarding immigrants.

Oh, and the continental withdrawal of benefits and support for those most in need, presumably hoping they would die and get off the books.

The Tories are in utter chaos, they are not going to be able to get any deal with anyone at this rate
Theresa May was given a very bad hand to start with. I recon they will call for an early election and try to wriggle there way out that way.
Nah... May will remain until the brexit shambles is complete, then she'll either stand down or be ousted. She was shoehorned in as PM for that very reason.
